Solar panel installation for South East Queensland homes
We design and install residential solar systems across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich and the Sunshine Coast — sized to your roof, your electricity use and the export limits that apply to your property.
Accredited and licensed
SAA-accredited system design and installation by licensed Queensland electricians.
Approvals handled
We lodge your Energex connection application and complete the STC paperwork.
Quality equipment
Panels and inverters from established brands including Jinko, AIKO, REC, Trina, Sungrow, Fronius and Sigenergy.
Sized to how your household uses power
A well-designed system starts with your electricity bills, not a standard package. We look at how much power you use, when you use it, and whether you are likely to add a battery or an electric vehicle in the next few years.
We then assess your roof — direction, pitch, available area and shading from trees or neighbouring buildings — and match panels and an inverter to it. Where a battery is likely later, we can specify a battery-ready hybrid inverter now so you are not replacing equipment down the track.
Energex connection and STCs taken care of
Grid-connected solar systems in South East Queensland generally need an Energex connection application before installation. We prepare and lodge it for you, then configure the system to match the connection offer — including dynamic export settings where they apply.
Eligible systems also attract Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. We apply the STC value as a discount on your quote and complete the certificate paperwork after installation.
Installed to Australian Standards
Our licensed electricians install your system in line with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 5033 (solar arrays) and AS/NZS 4777 (inverter connections), along with the manufacturer's instructions and Energex requirements.
Most residential installations are completed in one to two days. Before we leave, we commission the system, arrange your meter changeover where needed, and show you how to monitor your system's production on your phone.
Frequently asked questions
What size solar system do I need?
It depends on how much electricity you use, when you use it, your roof space and the export limits on your connection. Many Queensland homes install somewhere between 6.6 kW and 13 kW of panels, but we size each system from your bills and roof rather than a standard package.
Do I need approval from Energex to install solar?
A new or modified grid-connected solar system generally requires an Energex connection application. We lodge it on your behalf before installation as part of our service.
Is there a government rebate for solar panels in Queensland?
Eligible systems receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) under the federal scheme, which we apply as an upfront discount on your quote. There is currently no separate Queensland state rebate for residential solar panels.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. If a battery is likely, we can install a battery-ready hybrid inverter now so a battery can be added later with less work. A new Energex application is generally required when a battery is added.
